According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, the death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner identified as Mashallah Nikoufal—married, father of two, and a native of Harsin, Kermanshah province—was carried out in Ghezel Hesar Prison, Karaj.
According to Hana’s sources, this prisoner was arrested six years ago on charges related to “narcotics” and was later sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
