Orumiyeh

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, Amin Karimi, an artist and theater actor from Orumiyeh known by his stage name “Amino,” was transferred to Orumiyeh Central Prison on Monday, August 11, 2025, after completing interrogation procedures at the detention center of the Intelligence Department.

Amin Karimi was arrested by security forces on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the Sarv border terminal in Orumiyeh while returning from Turkey, and was taken to the Intelligence Department’s detention center. To date, no precise information has been released regarding the reasons for his arrest or the charges against him.

It is worth noting that Amin Karimi had previously been arrested by security forces during the “Woman, Life, Freedom” uprising and was released after one month of interrogation.
