Arrest of Soleiman Qader Galwan the brother of one of the victims of the Zhina revolutionary movement

According to the Hana Human Rights Organization:
On Monday, June 23, 2025, Soleiman Qader Galwan, the brother of Abdolsalam Qader Galwan—one of the victims of the Zhina (Mahsa) revolutionary uprising—was arrested by security forces at his parents’ home without a judicial warrant.

According to an informed source, after his arrest, security forces gained access to Soleiman’s personal Instagram account and posted content in support of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Soleiman Qader Galwan had previously been violently arrested by Oshnavieh Intelligence agents on July 9, 2023. During that detention, he was subjected to severe physical assault and mistreatment. Additionally, security forces desecrated and vandalized the grave of his deceased brother.

It is worth noting that Abdolsalam Qader Galwan, son of Nader, was severely injured during the nationwide protests on September 21, 2022, in Oshnavieh. Due to the severity of his injuries, he died on September 26, 2022, at a hospital in Orumiyeh.
