According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, at dawn on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, the death sentence of a prisoner identified as Javad Kakavand, a resident of Lorestan, was carried out in Malayer Prison.
Sources informed Hana that Javad Kakavand had previously been arrested on drug-related charges and was sentenced to death by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s judiciary.
