According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, at dawn today, Sunday, September 1, 2024, the death sentence of a 46-year-old Baloch prisoner named Parviz Mirbaluchzehi (Narouie), son of Malek Mohammad, originally from Deh Pabid and residing in Zahedan, was carried out in Kahnoj Prison.
Parviz Mirbaluchzehi was married and the father of three children. According to this report, on Friday, August 30, 2024, he was transferred to solitary confinement in preparation for his execution, and on Saturday, August 31, he had his final meeting with his family in Kahnoj Prison. According to the Hal Vash news agency, Parviz Mirbaluchzehi was arrested in 2021 on charges related to "drug offenses" and was sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It is worth mentioning that the death sentence for this Baloch prisoner was issued about a year ago but was temporarily delayed due to a stroke that left him paralyzed.
