Zahra Pirdehghan, known within the organization by the code name Dejleh Maku, and Parvin Rasegh Qezelbash, 32, known by the code name Adar Maku, both members of the Free Women’s Society of Eastern Kurdistan (KJAR), were detained by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Orumiyeh in June/July 2026, Hana has learned.
According to KJAR, these two members of the organization had traveled to Urmia to carry out organizational activities. Nearly three months after their detention, no information is available regarding their place of detention or condition, and their families have faced pressure in trying to pursue their fate.
As of the time of this report’s publication, no information has been released regarding the judicial proceedings in their case.
