Hana Human Rights Organization: Arshak Raouf Gonbadi, 45 years old, civil activist, civil engineer and graduate student of history, University of Tabriz, resident of Gonbad village, Soma Baradoost district, Urmia, was released from security detention centers on a temporary basis until the end of the proceedings.
He was detained by security forces on June 14, 2022 in Urmia without a warrant.
As of this writing, no information is available on the reason for his detention and the charges against Arshak Raouf Gonbady, but an informed source reported that, because he defended his national identity in response to the renaming of Surah Dukul Waterfall by the Meteorological Page of Urmia, was arrested.
