According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, 11 citizens have been arrested by Intelligence Department forces in Malekshahi County, illam Province.
In a statement, the Intelligence Department of illam Province claimed that the citizens had operated in three separate groups during the protests in January 2026. The authorities accused them of several offenses, including firing at security forces and a police facility, directing protesters, damaging government and public property, and displaying firearms and bladed weapons.
The statement also accused the citizens of having links to the United States and Israel and claimed that a number of firearms and bladed weapons had been seized from them.
