According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, a citizen identified as Seyed Ahmad Mostafanejad, a native of Piranshahr County, was arrested after being summoned by phone to the IRGC Intelligence office in the city. He was subsequently transferred to an undisclosed location.
Despite three days having passed since his arrest, no information is available regarding the reasons for his detention or the charges brought against him. He continues to be denied access to a lawyer and contact with his family.
