The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that Masoud Farahikhteh and Zartosht Ahmadi-Ragheb, two political prisoners held at Karaj Central Prison, have ended their hunger strike after nearly two weeks of protesting the implementation of death sentences.
The two political prisoners ended their hunger strike following appeals from political, labor, and human rights activists, who emphasized the importance of protecting their health.
It should be noted that, as of the publication of this report, Masoud Farahikhteh continues to be denied contact with his family. Information about his condition is being relayed outside the prison through other prisoners.
