Based on the reports received from Hana’s colleagues: During the past week, a Kurdish citizen with the identity of “Wahed Bagheri”, 46 years old, electrician of Mahabad Electricity Department, was severely electrocuted while working on a high-voltage power tower in Kohnedeh village.
Wahed Bagheri was admitted to Mahabad Hospital for medical treatment and then transferred to Urmia and last night to Motahari Hospital in Tehran. The specialist supervising the condition of Wahed Bagheri says that both of his hands should be amputated due to electrocution injuries.
Also, his kidneys are severely damaged and it is likely that they will fail, and his heart tissue is also seriously damaged.
The family of this Kurdish citizen in a conversation with the colleagues of Hana Human Rights Organization; They expressed their displeasure with the authorities' inattention and lack of monitoring of the issue.
