Four Kurdish Citizens Violently Arrested in Chardavol Over the Past 48 Hours

According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Sunday and Monday, August 23 and 24, 2026, four Kurdish citizens named Amin Naseri, Rouhollah Gholami, Yaser Havasizadeh, and Younes Bakri were arrested in Chardavol county.

Amin Naseri, a 27 year old artist from Asemanabad, was targeted by direct fire during his arrest and sustained injuries to his leg and back. Rouhollah Gholami was also violently arrested at his workplace without the presentation of a judicial warrant. A day later, plainclothes forces arrested Yaser Havasizadeh in the Pirhamzeh area after physically beating him. Younes Bakri, a citizen from Sarableh, was also arrested that same night while shopping, without a judicial warrant.

So far, no information is available regarding the location of detention, charges, or these individuals’ access to legal counsel and their families. The physical condition of Amin Naseri and his access to medical treatment also remain unknown. Hana condemns the violent and arbitrary arrest of these citizens and holds the security and judicial institutions of the Islamic Republic directly responsible for their lives and health.
