Arrest of  2 Kurdish media activist in Sardasht

Hana; On Wednesday (September 1th), two Kurdish media activists were arrested by security forces in Sardasht.

 

Security forces in Sardasht summoned Mohamad Mamandzadeh, a journalist and environmental activist, to the city's FATA police station and interrogated him.

 The reason for his detention was the publication of news about the water cut and the project to transfer water from the Little Zab River through the Bezhuin telegram channel, and he was released with a written commitment after interrogation.
In this case, another Kurdish journalist with the identity of Abu Bakr Ismaili was interrogated by FATA police in Sardasht, and he was also released from detention with a written commitment.

Abu Bakr Ismaili is the director of the Telegram channel Rabat News, and was interrogated for several hours today.
