According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, in recent days a Kurdish citizen identified as Younes Tanhaei, a married man and father of two from the village of Hamzeh Abad, a suburb of Mahabad, was arrested by security forces and taken to an undisclosed location.
According to Hana’s sources, the arrest of this Kurdish citizen was carried out by security forces in Mahabad without presenting any judicial warrant.
Despite the family’s persistent inquiries in recent days, security agencies have so far refused to provide any information regarding his condition, whereabouts, or the reasons for his arrest.
It is worth noting that Mr. Tanhaei has previously been arrested as well.
