The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, Armin Pirani, a resident of Abdanan in illam province, was arrested and transferred to Mapareh Prison in Darreh Shahr to serve a sentence of three months and 14 days of Ta’zir imprisonment.
It should be noted that Mr. Pirani was previously arrested by security forces on February 17, 2026. His initial arrest took place during the 40th-day memorial ceremony for Alireza Seyedi, who was killed during the January protests.
