Seyed Kamal Ahmadpour, a 34-year-old from Mahabad, was shot in the heart with live ammunition by Islamic Republic security forces on 18 November 2022 during the nationwide protests following the state killing of Zhina Amini. The shooting occurred on “Manbaʿ Street” in Mahabad. He was critically wounded and died after being transferred to the hospital.
Seyed Kamal Ahmadpour was married and the father of two children.
It is worth noting that the official forensic report lists the cause of death as a fatal gunshot wound from live ammunition.
