Saman Ghaderpour, a 37-year-old man from Oshnavieh and a resident of Tehran, was arrested by government forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran on October 29, 2022, during the nationwide protests over the state killing of Jina Amini in Tehran, and was killed under torture.
It should be noted that government institutions claimed the cause of his death was cardiac arrest; however, Saman’s uncle, who had seen his body, reported visible signs of beating and bruising on his body.
