Mohsen Gheysari, 32, from Ilam, was killed on September 21, 2022, during nationwide protests over the government-sanctioned killing of Zhina Amini. He was shot at close range by a member of the Special Unit, receiving two bullets to the head and chest, near Ilam’s Children’s Park.
