Mohammad Zarei, a 22-year-old from Sonqor in Kermanshah Province, was severely injured on the evening of Wednesday, September 21, 2022, during protests against the government-sanctioned killing of Zhina Amini in the “Baqerabad” area of Qarchak, Varamin. He died while being transferred to Shahid Satari Hospital in Qarchak due to gunshot wounds inflicted by security forces.
