Habib Fathi, a 63-year-old resident of Divandareh, was killed on November 19, 2022, during the nationwide protests following the state killing of Zhina Amini. He was shot in the head with live ammunition by security forces of the Islamic Republic on the main street of the city, in front of Tejarat Bank, and died as a result.
Habib Fathi was married and the father of eight children.
It should be noted that, due to pressure from government authorities of the Islamic Republic, Habib Fathi’s body was buried without a death certificate being issued.
