Erfan Khazaei

Erfan Khazaei, a 30-year-old Kurdish man from Kangavar, Kermanshah Province, residing in Shahriar, Tehran, was shot on September 21, 2022, during nationwide protests over the government-sanctioned killing of Zhina Amini in Shahriar. He was hit in the neck from a distance of less than 10 meters by a handgun fired by government suppressive forces and died several hours later in Imam Sajad Hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
