Aso Qaderi, a 26-year-old from the Rabat district of Sardasht, was killed on 17 November 2022 during the nationwide protests over the state killing of Jina Amini. While inside his car on a street in the city of Baneh, he was directly shot in the head and shoulder by the Islamic Republic’s security forces and died instantly at the scene.
Under pressure from security forces, his body was buried on 18 November 2022 in the Hormazabad cemetery in Rabat, with only his family present.
