Aryan Moridi, a 19-year-old from Salas-e Babajani, was severely injured on October 9, 2022, during the nationwide protests following the state-sanctioned killing of Zhina Amini. He was shot by the suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran with a high-velocity bullet that entered his left shoulder and exited through his right shoulder. After several hours, he succumbed to his injuries.
