Security forces in Bukan arrested two sisters on Wednesday, May 27, and transferred them to an undisclosed location, the Hana Human Rights Organization reports.
The two women, identified as Humaira Aminpour, approximately 50 years old, and Sheler Aminpour, were taken into custody after security agents raided their home without presenting a judicial warrant.
As of publication, authorities have provided no information regarding the reasons for their detention or any charges leveled against them.
