According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, Behrouz Hemmati, a 42-year-old resident of Abdanan and an employee of the Rasul Akram Hospital in the same city, was arrested by security forces.
According to Hana’s sources, following his arrest, Mr. Hemmati was transferred to Mapareh Prison in the city of Darreh Shahr.
