Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that in recent days, Sasan Pakravan, a resident of illam, was temporarily released from Ilam Central Prison on a bail of 8 billion Tomans pending the conclusion of his legal proceedings.
Based on the information received, the charges against Mr. Pakravan have been cited as “Moharebeh” (enmity against God) and “discharging a firearm” in connection with the protests of January 2026.
Sasan Pakravan was arrested on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, following a raid on his personal residence in illam by security forces. The arrest was reportedly carried out without a judicial warrant and involved physical assault, after which he was transferred to an unknown location.
It is worth noting that throughout his detention, he was denied basic prisoner rights, including access to a lawyer. Ultimately, after nearly three months in custody, he was granted temporary release upon the posting of a heavy bail.
