The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Ebrahim Ahmad Pourian, a native of Saqqez County and a resident of Tehran, lost his life during popular protests in Tehran as a result of direct fire by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to information received by Hana sources, security and military forces violently suppressed protesters using military-grade weapons.
Ebrahim Ahmad Pourian was married and the father of two children.
