Peyman Menbari

Peyman Menbari, a 25-year-old from Niyar village and resident of Sanandaj, on October 8, 2022, during nationwide protests against the state killing of Zhina Amini, was shot in the back at close range with a pistol by government forces near Mardoukh Bridge. He was severely wounded and, after several hours due to the severity of his injuries, lost his life.
