According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, at dawn on Saturday, September 27, 2025, the death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner identified as Mehdi Veisi, from the Baba Gerd Ali Village in Tarhan, a district of Kuhdasht, was carried out in Khoramabad Central Prison.
According to the received reports, this prisoner had previously been arrested on charges of “premeditated murder” and was later sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
