Reports indicate an increase in pressure and threats by security agencies against the families and activists associated with the “Women, Life, Freedom” movement in Sanandaj

Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that in recent days, pressure and threats against families associated with the “Women, Life, Freedom” movement have increased in Sanandaj by security agencies.

According to Hana’s sources, all families linked to the movement have been summoned by the Intelligence Department, subjected to questioning, and threatened.

An informed source, speaking to Hana, added that Mohsen Hosseinpanahi, an environmental activist who had previously suffered severe burns, along with a group of civil activists, former political prisoners, environmental activists, and field activists, were also summoned to the Sanandaj Intelligence Office.

The source further noted that the old building of the Officers’ Club in Sanandaj, which had long been used as a place for interrogations, has once again been turned into a site for questioning civilians.
