As part of the ongoing wave of widespread arrests in Mahabad, another citizen was detained by security forces in the city.
According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Sunday, June 22, 2025, a Kurdish citizen identified as Sa’doun Ghazali, a resident of Mahabad, was arrested by security forces and taken to an undisclosed location.
It is worth mentioning that Hana Human Rights Organization had previously reported the arrest of at least 11 citizens in Mahabad over the past three days.
