According to received reports, the death sentence of Mohsen Langar-Neshin, a 34-year-old political prisoner, was carried out in Qezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.
This political prisoner, who was a well-known activist in the field of technology and cybersecurity, was executed this morning, Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
According to obtained information, Mohsen Langar-Neshin was arrested by security forces in Tehran in July 2023 and transferred to a Ministry of Intelligence safe house. During his initial detention, he was held without access to a lawyer or contact with his family, subjected to severe psychological pressure, and coerced into making forced confessions.
Two days prior to the execution, he was transferred to solitary confinement.
Reports indicate that at no stage of the legal proceedings did Mohsen Langar-Neshin receive a fair or transparent trial, and his court session was held without the presence of an independent lawyer.
Hana Human Rights Organization has condemned the execution of Mohsen Langar-Neshin, calling it yet another example of the systematic violation of human rights by the judicial and security apparatus of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
