What We Do
Human Rights Documentation and Reporting.
Hana monitors, verifies and documents human rights violations in Iran, with particular attention to Iranian Kurdistan. We publish case-based reports, periodic monitoring reports and thematic research to provide reliable information for public scrutiny and accountability.
International Advocacy and Engagement
Hana engages with international human rights organizations, civil society actors and relevant United Nations human rights mechanisms. We use verified documentation and legal analysis to contribute to international monitoring, protection and accountability processes.
Human Rights Research and Education
Hana conducts legal and policy research and promotes awareness of human rights standards through publications, educational activities and targeted initiatives, including work concerning women, children and communities exposed to discrimination or other human rights risks.
Legal Support and Access to Justice
Hana provides legal information, advice and case support to individuals affected by human rights violations and, where appropriate, assists them in accessing relevant domestic and international protection and accountability mechanisms.
