According to Hana Human Rights Organization: On Saturday, October 10, 2023, Peshawa Ebrahimpour, a 19-year-old youth from Mahabad, was arrested by the security forces for unknown reasons.
On the same day, another youth named Poya Khazri, 17, from Mahabad, was arrested by the security forces and taken to an unknown location.
Based on Received Reports; This 17-year-old youth was arrested by the security forces in his family home without a judicial order and transferred to one of the security detention centers in Orumiyeh.
So far information about the arrest and charges against these two is not available.
