According to the reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization; On Sunday, October 8, 2023, a Kurdish prisoner with the identity of “Afshar (Barzan) Atmani”, 47 years old, the son of Assad and from the village of “Vajwaj” in Selmas County, was transferred from the quarantine section of Selmas Central Prison to the general prison.
This informed source added that the children of the victim had asked for 30 billion tomans to obtain consent, and with the efforts of the leaders and elders of the region, they finally were agreed to 9 billion tomans and gave a 20-day deadline.
It is necessary to remember that 16 years ago, the mentioned person had killed his mother in law unintentionally during a family dispute, who has been on the run for about 3 years and has been in prison for 13 years now.
