Hana: On Tuesday, February 14, 2023, Arian Kokhaei, a 19-year-old son of Nowruz and a native of Ilam, went on a hunger strike in prison by sewing his lips together.
According to reports, Arian Kokhaei went on a hunger strike by sewing his lips to protest the lack of processing of his case.
Arian Kokhaei has been charged by the Ilam Revolution General Prosecutor's Office with the charges of "forming a criminal group, destruction and show of force with firearms and disturbing public order."
Also, in another case, he was sentenced to a fine by the Criminal Court of Ilam for "accusation of insulting holy things".
It should be noted that the mentioned person was arrested by government forces on Sunday, October 8, 2022.
