According to information received by Hana Human Rights Organization, on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, Jamileh (Mina) Mohammadamin Azar, a citizen from Bukan County, was arrested along with her husband, Khoshnaw Azizpour, by security forces without the presentation of any judicial warrant. Both were transferred to an undisclosed location. Her husband was released after several hours of interrogation.
According to the information received, security forces confiscated the mobile phones of both citizens during their arrest.
Three days after Jamileh Mohammadamin Azar’s arrest, no information is still available regarding the reasons for her detention or the charges brought against her. She has also been denied access to a lawyer, telephone contact, and visits from her family.
