The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, Ahmad Najafnia, a resident of Lumar in illam Province, was arrested by Intelligence Department forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to information received, Mr. Najafnia was arrested after Intelligence Department forces raided his workplace without presenting a judicial warrant.
Six days after his arrest, no information is available regarding the reasons for his arrest or the charges brought against him. He also continues to be denied access to a lawyer, contact with his family, and family visits.
