According to the news received from Hana’s colleagues in Ilam city, The police force and the intelligence office have banned the wearing of Kurdish clothes in the coffee shops of this city.
In this regard, Hana's human rights organization, in an interview with one of the owners of Ilam's cafeteraps, stated that in recent days, because of wearing Kurdish clothing, some of the cafes have been sealed or arrested customers who are dressed in Kurdish clothes, and this behavior of the security forces has caused us to ban the wearing of Kurdish clothing in our cafes.
Kurdish clothing and wearing Kurdish clothing was one of the most basic rights of the people of Kurdistan, and banning this right is a clear violation of the human rights and national rights of the people of Kurdistan.
