This is a monthly report on the suicide situation in Iranian Kurdistan during the period of May, 2021 which was prepared with the efforts of the Statistics Center of the Hana Human Rights Organization.
It should be noted that this statistic dose not includes all cases of human rights violations in Iranian Kurdistan. There is no ground for the free operation of human rights organizations, but our colleagues at Hana Human Rights Organization do their best to provide the most reports.
15 Suicide cases From the beginning of May to the end of this month, according to the reports of Hana colleagues in Iranian Kurdistan, at least 15 suicides have occurred, which indicates a stable number in this number compared to the previous month. Of these, 7 were female and 8 were male. Out of the total of 15 suicides, 5 were in Kurdistan province, 1 was female and 4 were male, 9 were in Uromiah province, 4 were male and 5 were female, and 1 was It belongs to Ilam province, which was a woman.
In all assemblies and countries, governments are obliged to provide the basic conditions for a peaceful and simple life for their people, and also psychological, physical and social security must be provided after the first case, while None of the above cases are relevant for the citizens of Iran and especially for the provinces of Kurdistan of Iran.
