According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Wednesday, 17 December 2025, the death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner named Aryan Jokar was carried out in Quchan Central Prison.
Additionally, on Tuesday, 16 December 2025, the death sentence of another Kurdish prisoner, Kambiz Dirbaziyan, from Esfarayen, was carried out in Esfarayen Central Prison.
It should be noted that Ariyan Jokar was arrested approximately two years ago on charges of “premeditated murder,” and Kambiz Dirbaziyan was arrested about four years ago on charges related to “drug-related offenses.” Each was sentenced to death in separate cases by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
