Three Kurdish citizens were transferred to Naqadeh Prison to serve their prison sentences

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Monday, November 10, 2025, three citizens identified as Omid Khezrnejad, Ahad Khezrnejad, and Shwana Khezrnejad, from Grdea-ban village in Piranshahr County, were transferred to Naqadeh Prison to serve their prison sentences.

According to the received reports, the three individuals had previously been sentenced to three years in prison each by Branch One of the Revolutionary Court of Mahabad, on charges of “collaboration with one of the Kurdish opposition parties.”

Ahad Khezrnejad and Shwana Khezrnejad were arrested by security forces on Monday, January 22, 2024, and Omid Khezrnejad was arrested on Saturday, January 27, 2024 after being summoned to the Intelligence Department of Piranshahr. Following interrogation, all three were transferred to Naqadeh Prison.

It is worth noting that the three citizens were later temporarily released from Naqadeh Prison on June 5, 2024, after posting bail of two billion tomans each.
