Hana: On Sunday, December 15, 2024, another resident of Mahabad, identified as “Chia Nasrollahi,” was arrested by security forces and transferred to an unknown location.
According to received reports, the arrest of Mr. Nasrollahi was carried out arbitrarily and without the presentation of judicial documentation by security forces at his workplace in Mahabad.
Earlier, on December 14 and 16, 2024, at least three other citizens, including a woman, were arrested by security forces. Their names are: Salar Shams Borhan, Abdullah Ghoveh (from Kulijeh village), and Nazanin Elyasi (from Mahabad).
According to the report, Ms. Elyasi was arrested after being summoned to the Mahabad Intelligence Office.
Furthermore, on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at least 11 Kurdish citizens from Mahabad were arrested by security forces. They have been identified as: Zanyar Seyed Ahmadi, Osman (Showaneh) Jahani-Far, Ayoub Rasouli, Qader Kheraman-Far, Siamand Seyed Ahmadi, Kamal Masoudi, Jalal Sadafi, Yousef Qal, Aram Mabzoleh, Rahman Dana, and Reboar Rasouli.
It is worth noting that their arrests were carried out arbitrarily and without judicial warrants at their family homes by security forces.
