According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, at dawn on Thursday, October 2, 2025, the death sentence of a prisoner identified as Kamyar Barati Sarvanoi, a native of Kermanshah, was carried out in Dizelabad Prison in the same city.
According to the information obtained, this prisoner had previously been arrested on charges related to drug offenses and was later sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Likewise, at dawn on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, the death sentence of another Kurdish prisoner identified as Keyvan Mohammadi, son of Esmaeil, originally from Dehgolan and residing in Islamshahr, Tehran, was carried out in Zanjan Central Prison.
According to Hana’s sources, this prisoner had been arrested two years ago on charges related to drug offenses and was subsequently sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic.
