According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, at dawn on Monday, September 8, 2025, the death sentence of a prisoner identified as Dariush Bahrami, 40 years old, father of two children and a native of Kohdasht, was carried out in Karaj Central Prison.
Furthermore, at dawn on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, the death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner identified as Rahman Ali Akbari, 35 years old and from Angaz, a district of Kermanshah, was carried out in Kermanshah Central Prison.
According to Hana’s sources, both prisoners had been arrested five years ago on charges related to “drug offenses” and were subsequently sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
