According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, at dawn today, Wednesday, October 1, 2025, the death sentences of two Kurdish prisoners, Mehrdad Shahidi and Saeed Amiri, both from Kermanshah, were carried out in Dizelabad Prison, Kermanshah.
Sources informed Hana that the two prisoners had previously been arrested on charges of “premeditated murder” and sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Furthermore, at dawn on Tuesday, September 30 2025, another prisoner, Gholamali Nazarian, also from Kermanshah, was executed in the same prison.
According to received reports, he too had been arrested earlier on charges of “premeditated murder” and sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.
It is worth noting that within the past six days, at least 11 Kurdish prisoners have been executed.
