According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, at dawn today, Saturday, January 31, 2026, the death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner identified as Mohammad Javad Namdari, from Kermanshah Province, was carried out at the province’s central prison.
According to the information received, this prisoner had previously been arrested by security forces on charges related to “drug offenses” and was later sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
