According to Hana and quoting the Hrana news agency, on the previous day Ehsan Rostami, a Kurdish cultural activist from Harsin county in Kermanshah province and a resident of Tehran, was formally presented with the charge of “baghi” (armed rebellion) at Branch 5 of the Investigative Office of the Tehran Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office, District 33 (Shahid Moqadas Security), presided over by Investigator Jalayer.
After the session, Rostami was transferred to the quarantine ward of Evin Prison.
It is noted that this cultural activist was arrested on August 20, 2025, by security forces at his home in Tehran and subsequently taken to the Ministry of Intelligence detention facility known as Ward 209 of Evin Prison.
