Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Sunday, September 14, 2025, Salah Haji-Mirzaei, a 47-year-old teacher, civil activist, and member of the Sanandaj Teachers’ Trade Association, was summoned for the second time to the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office in Sanandaj.
According to Hana, following his appearance at the prosecutor’s office, he was subjected to lengthy interrogation and threatened by security interrogators present there regarding any form of participation in the commemoration of Jina Amini.
It is worth noting that in recent days Hana had expressed concern over the unlawful summoning and threats against women activists as well as other civil and political activists by the IRGC Intelligence Organization and the Kurdistan branch of the Ministry of Intelligence. These actions have coincided with a state of military alert across Kurdistan’s cities, where the atmosphere in recent days has been reported as highly securitized.
