On Wednesday, December 28, 2022, Keyvan Zandkarimi was arrested at his workplace in Sanandaj by the IRGC Intelligence Organization and transferred to the detention center of the Intelligence Department of this city, and finally, after two months of interrogation, he was transferred to the central prison of Sanandaj and after 125 days of detention, on Tuesday. March 2, 2023, he was temporarily released from Sanandaj Central Prison with a heavy bail of 3 billion tomans until the end of the proceedings.
